This is my first post on this board, so I apologise if this has already been posted.
I may not have a leg to stand on but I had an 18 month contract with 3G and it ended in May 2007!! Now it's my fault for not checking when it ended and for not contacting them, as my phone didn't work and I took out another phone with another company.
All the money up to the 18 months was sorted and all that, but I didn't know that I had to contact 3 to cancel the payments and it's in their terms and conditions apparently.
When I finally rang 3 they told me I needed a 30 day wait, but I cancelled payment with my bank and now 3 have rung to ask for this months payment.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems or if there's any chance of getting my money back (I doubt it but thought I'd ask). I can't remember being told that I needed to contact them when the 18 months was up, but it was a logn time ago.
Cheers
Matt

Unfortunately that is standard for all mobile contracts, and the phone companies rarely back down. Not paying the outstanding balance could result in a black mark on your credit record which will cause you problems getting credit in the future (mobile phones, credit cards, mortgage etc). I would suggest that you just put it down to experience, pay the balance and then forget about it.0
