Thank you for that. Lovely pictures. I have ordered from Landy in China on behalf of my sister. When it get here I will post my views-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-

Loulabelle, probably the Confetti 'Bride and Groom' forum is your best bet, this is where I found a lot of people who ordered from Landy, any time anyone seems to post asking if anyone has ordered from her, many people respond with their views and pics of their dresses.
I know a couple of people in 'real-life' who after getting talking to them it turned out they also ordered from Landy or knew someone who did. Got to say, I've normally thought that other peoples dresses from there have looked fine but the people receiving them may have been a little disappointed, but then they know the exact detail there's meant to be on it and I don't, but to my eye and not knowing what the dress was MEANT to look like, I've thought they were just fine. (I think this is whats going on with mine, looks fine to other people, but because I know what it is meant to be, I am more critical of it)
Speaking of Milly Bridal, as someone just did, I like the idea of them sending pics of the work in progress so you can see how it's turning out and make changes before its finished if need be. I think Showtunes girl did this, and made changes to the neckline as it was being made.0 -

Yes, I noticed that. I think that might be the reason why I'm leaning toward them. But I think I'd have to go for a custom design, as none of theirs grab me.0 -

Yes that's right. After they had made the dress, I noticed that the neckline was too high so they redid it for me and only after I had approved the final dress did they send it to me.
When I tried the dress on, it was a bit too big on the bust but that was my fault as I'd lost a bit of weight off my chest and also was wearing a different bra so I had that taken in.
Also I had a new zip put in as it gave out. I don't blame Milly for this as this could happen to any dress but when I told them about it, they actually gave me some money towards having it repaired.
I think this is pretty good customer service!0 -

OH is going to be so shocked when he sees me - wouldn't be surprised if he checks for jeans underneath it.

Silly me got scared by fat tulip saying Landybridal wasnt operational anymore, bought a second hand dress off of ebay last sunday (which does look lovely) But still havn't heard from the seller
Is it just me or is it a bit long to leave it? I managed to get their contact details off ebay and spoke to her parents who said she'd been away but will get it sent off soon, maybe its just me but I think I would have written on the listing that it would not be sent immediately but never mind....think im turning into bridezilla!!!

WOOHOOO!!!
Well after a couple of hectic mad days of going back and forth to the hospital(OH in with gall bladder problems) whilst trying to run the business and seeing to the house and kids, I have a smile on my face!!!
My dress arrived this morning :j
I cleared the front room and made sure everything was clean and clear. I unwrapped the parcel and was quite shocked to see the material. It was only when i had taken the whole dress out that I realised it was inside out!!:o
I turned the dress the right way around and held it up. The material is smashing, the colour is lovely and on first impression I have to say i was very impressed!!
I manged to try the dress on and get the lace done up the back by myself. I ordered a few cm larger than I needed as I have a tendency to put on weight over christmas and we have another one of those to go before the wedding! :rotfl:
It is definitely too big. BUT I have put about £150 away to have alterations done. I figured that even with that extra on top the savings made was outstanding.
The dress has been made to a very high standard. The beading is lovely, if not as full on as the original, but I don't mind this as i don't do too much fuss! The boning is great and the fit will be lovely. I am so very happy.
Thanks for all the support you girls have given me and the many other Brides to be on here.
Today is finally a great day! :happyhear0
