Nokia 3310 Put on discreet now not ringing

Hi Can anyone help me solve a problem, I have a Nokia 3310 which i use for going out and i put it onto discreet so it just vibrated instead of rung, now i can't work out how to get it to ring again i have tried every menu, but can't remember and don't have a manual does anyone know please ??

you use the "on /off" button at the top of the phone ... it's menu has ...

switch off
general.... that's the one you normally use
silent
discreet
loud

Tried that but it still isn't ringing there is a musical crotchet note with a bar through it still and it still just vibrates instead of vibrating and ringing

sounds like a software corruption if it worked before...a reflash of the software would fix it

you could try a default reset of the phone..but you will lose any peronalised stuff from the phone..think its under phone settings

You should be able to go to the "Profiles" option in the main menu, select the "General" profile, and choose "Activate"... well, that's what works on my phone.

If you still see the crossed-out-crotchet icon, you may have turned off the ring tone for the General profile. Go to the "Profiles" option in the main menu, select "General", then "Personalise". Make sure the "Incoming call alert" option is set to "Ringing".
