This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • I've been lurking and hopefully learning!

Today I (third attempt as no highlighter available last 2 days)
    got highlighter,(free)
    no7 mascara (+100 points for spending £10 + used pink £5 voucher)
natural collection shower gel reduced to 50p (used nc ACM voucher for 100 points - they paid me 50p to take it?)

Plus got a new pink £5 voucher....
    :T

Now know where the clearance bit is in Colchester boots! ;)
Seem to spend my lunch breaks "mooching round" :p and then get my "plan" together and go for it... SA who served me kept smiling as I produced each voucher!

My long-suffering OH now gets "boots" chat ;) when I get home with my bags of booty LOL

  • Hi. For any Leeds (chocoholic) Bootsers...480g box of Quality Street £1.07!
Right at the back of the store, near the nappies (?) and on the top shelf, above the eye-line! Loads of them! How I happened to spot them is a mystery. Telling myself it was Fate, as I enjoy my first chocs in 7 weeks of dieting...oh dear!

  • Hey all,

feels like its been forever since i last spoke to you all!!! with regards to my OH- thanx to all for your kind words!!!- Turns out his shin bone is healing a lot slower than the rest although the consultant has said he has to keep on track to get back to work in April if he cant itll be more surgery so i reckon i should invest in some scar serum!!! LOL!!!

On another note i was on a night out last night (strippers night - fabby fab!!!) and i was wearing some of the mascara i received in the no7 gwp but i felt it really irritated my eyes and got to the point where i was desperate to rub my eyes!! Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Not at all, just trying to repay Pollsdolls good karma from this morning for telling us all about the P and P serum :D

Let me know what it's like, I'm on Sanctuary eye cream at the moment - but have another one of the P and P testers to try :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, mazza, the shampoo post may be about the Trevor Sorbie stuff too.

It is currently on buy 3 for the price of two, but if you join the Boots Parenting Club (referred to as PC on here, and you don't actually have to have a baby to join) you get a voucher for a free Trevor Sorbie conditioner when you buy a shampoo.

So as long as you get one Trevor Sorbie shampoo and one conditioner in your three items, you could actually get the conditioner for free too, meaning that you get three items for the price of one (around £4.49.)

    Hope that's of use.
I tried this yesterday and it didn't work for me. When I checked the receipt, only the 342 had worked. Explained to the SA and asked for my voucher back, he said no cos he'd crossd it out (?!) I persisted and he got the supervisor who gave it me back. Still gutted though!!
  • goimg to brombrough store tomorrow what should i look out for bargain wise?
If it has tyres or testicles, it's gonna give ya problems..

    Hi

Earlier there was some discussion about how unimpressed some peeps were about the Dream Lash mascara - lots of people who bought with the 100pts were disappointed with the clumpiness, but none mentioned irritations.

Can anyone tell me if the boots scar serum smells nice? I currently have a blocked nose so cant smell nuffin and dont want to buy it if it smells like the creams you get from doctors :(

I can't detect any smell on it, it's lovely and creamy though.

Certainly not anything like you will ever get off your GP (I wish):rotfl: :rotfl:
