There is hope for everyone then who managed to place an order, but I dont know how many actually managed it, in such a short time.
I did Pollsdolls and I can never afford the big one usually, so thank you so much :j :jMSE GBBO 2015 - Go Alvin!0 -
I have not kept up recently, although I keep looking at the first page but get nowhere and give up and think I will look at all that some other time. Today, I have tried to read most of these pages, I have been doing this for HOURS but I can't find enough info on the first page to know what you are all talking about! I know about P & P and magazines and vouchers (although I only have one illuminating voucher and none of all the others you all talk about) but I don't know what you mean when you talk about:
Nivea
Scar Serum
S & G
Shampoos
Hatboxes
etc etc
Please can anyone help? I know you are all busy trying to keep up with all this but some help would be appreciated.

You are right Cupcake, as we all help each other save money it looks like we are helping each other in other ways too which is an added bonus. If I in any tiny way have helped anyone that makes me feel good too
Thats why Boots grabbit thread is so special we don't yell at people for asking something that's already been asked, or ridicule others for triival things. :T :T
To keep on topic is essential, but as we are only human, we naturally spread a little of ourselves in our posts, I don't see that as any bad thing. How for example can we really discuss the merits of a Boots scar serum, and keep it totally impersonal. :silenced: Each of those scars tell a story. :lovethoug:AReal people - Real lives :A
p.s I have typed quite a few posts, then never clicked 'submit reply' because I felt it was too personal. But I'm clicking this one~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
I bought some £5 no7 vouchers from Ebay last week and they still have not arrived, was really hoping they would come in time to combine with the highlighter voucher but time is running out! Positive vibes needed!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Nivea - Is Nivea Q10 plus. Which gives 400pts and is on sale in some stores for as little as 50p Full price is approx £6.80 Look for the pink signs in the shops near the nivea Q10 saying 400pts
Scar Serum - This Is the Boots Expert scar serum. Full price £5.99 at the moment, on offer for £3.99 and also a voucher available in the ACM (Boots advantage card machine in larger stores) for 100pts off the serum It is very good if you have a scar.
S & G - This is Soap and Glory range, which I know very little about cept a lot of people love it. One of the younger ones can help with this one
Shampoos - This maybe the pantenne offer?? They are reduced at the moment, and I think there is also an acm voucher too
Hatboxes - These are the accessorise sets that were available for Valentines day and are now reduced in a lot of stores. They look like pink hatboxes with a zig zag design and are filled with goodies.
etc etc _ This is just about everything that you will pick up if you keep reading. When anyone sees a good bargain, or gets a good shop, they will post it here, and pass it on to others. You will pick it all up it is a little confusing at first with all the abbrebiations, but soon you will find your own offers and will be posting them. Dont be afraid to ask though, we dont bite here.:T . Good luck;)~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Has anybody tried the Protect and Perfect Eye Cream? I'm obsessed with eye creams at the moment and usually use the Loreal one but was thinking I might try the P&P one whilst I've got a £5.00 voucher. Does anybody use it already? Thanks.......0

Hi, I'm new to this too, but hope I can help a little.
Basically, there was a glitch on some Nivea cream ( I think it may now have ended) which meant that it was reduced to around £1.69, but you got 400 advantage cards points (which equates to £4 to spend in store) when you bought it. Therefore you actually made money on it.
The scar serum is in the Boots Experts range and it seems to contain all the same ingredients as the expensive Protect and Perfect range, except vitamin E. The scar serum is £5.99 but goes through the till at £3.99. and if you put your advantage card into one of the advantage card machines, you should be able to print off a voucher which gives you 100 points (£1) extra on your card for buying it.
S&G stands for Soap and Glory, which is a very nice toiletry range sold in Boots and Harvey Nichols. There is currently 1/3 off all Soap and Glory in Boots stores, and there's a voucher in the new Boots magazine (free if you have an advantage card) which gives you 100 extra points (£1) if you buy anything from the range (I think).
Hope that helps a bit. Not sure about the hatboxes I'm afraid, think they're an Accessorize gift set currently reduced in some stores only, perhaps someone else will be able to tell you.0 -
Oh, mazza, the shampoo post may be about the Trevor Sorbie stuff too.
It is currently on buy 3 for the price of two, but if you join the Boots Parenting Club (referred to as PC on here, and you don't actually have to have a baby to join) you get a voucher for a free Trevor Sorbie conditioner when you buy a shampoo.
So as long as you get one Trevor Sorbie shampoo and one conditioner in your three items, you could actually get the conditioner for free too, meaning that you get three items for the price of one (around £4.49.)
Hope that's of use.0
