Thanks. I phoned CS who said that there wasn't any stock anywhere, only online, and that it would not be available again. Would prefer local but will travel to London if necessary.

Watch the ebay prices shoot up then for the P&P giftset. This was a fab price for the giftset (especially at £15.00 with the pink voucher) and I bet loads were sold to be stored away for ebay once the shops and .com had no stock left.

I am far from being the Boots boosting queen....wish I was. I am just very fortunate to be a member of a very large family (have said it before I am one of nine and DH is one of eleven....and we have four children and two grandchildren....plus one on the way). None of the rest of my family collect Boots points....they can't work it out apparently:confused: and are happy for me to have their receipts to validate and coupons to get points and discounts......as long as they benefit from the price savings. Suit's me fine. They do also benefit by getting far more for birthdays and Christmas than I would normally even think of buying...because I buy when it's on offer or on a glitch.

    I love my family:j

Hubby and I are off tomorrow to go to Edinburgh for 1 night staying at the Malmaison on there Mothers Day offer and then off to Glasgow staying at the Hilton. does anyone know if there are any Boots near by as I have some £5 vouchers to use.

Malmaison is down in the old Leith docklands area. The nearest two Boots will probably be the one at the bottom of Leith Walk (don't bother going there...it's small and scruffy with very little stock) and at Ocean Terminal...small as well, but decent stock for it's size and a bit more upmarket.

Best one to go to if you have time is the big branch on Princes Street. It's got everything, really. There's also a small branch on Princes St, plus a really very useful one in St James Centre at the top of Leith Walk.

If you've got a car then Fort Kinnaird round at the east end of the City Bypass is a good one and very large, and there's another smaller one at the west end of the bypass at the Gyle Centre.
    Val.
  • WAs this on my recommendation per chance? Hmmm? Lol

Yes! We are driving daily to Christies for my radiotherapy and I saw the big Dunelm Mill on the way there today and said to dh there's a Boots there as well. He tutted but then agreed that we could call in on the way back!!

And if you do have a car and are going to Fort Kinnaird (I love Fort Kinnaird)....pop off the bypass at Straiton....they have a Boots there - not huge but worth a visit (also Ikea is next door if you fancy an Ikea visit as well:rotfl:)
