I have had an email saying my 3 P&P's have been despatched and will arrive by Wednesday. I took the free delivery.0

hi boots employee here. in reply to your concerns:
1. most boots stores get their deliveries either 3-4pm in the afternoon (stock to be put out next day) or 6am in the morning (stock put out same day.) so it would have been entirely possible that there had been a delivery in the time you specify.
2. You are correct about the no7. if she had put through the GWP before the voucher, it should work. i did it today. i agree, she should have given the customer the benefit of the doubt and tried. unfortunately some SAs do take comments such as yours as personally undermiming, which they shouldn't, but i would urge customers not to actually get aggressive with SA's, especially if they are young- a lot of them simply aren't experienced or trained beyond the technical workings of the till. Thanks for your response, I am far from aggressive and as I work in a customer service role i understand that this sort of stance would not get you anywhere.

just read in new mag that all 17 cosmetics will be 3 for 2 until 25 March, I guess this starts on Wednesday...and as you know one of new vouchers is for Free 17 Lip glaze WYB any product from 17 cosmetics... so 3 for 1;) IYKWIM
17 Lip Glaze is for £3.79 so the other free item needs to be the same price or lower...

Tsk, just noticed that .com are selling the Sanctuary GWP for £10 as a Mother's Day gift.
Was the GWP offer ever online or just instore?
New mags in Durham Arnison Centre, plus loads of reduced suncare, No7 foundations, L'Oreal Glam Shine lip glosses (marked as £1.49 but going through the till for 49p) in North Road.0 -
Or could we use:
2 x eyeshadow for £5
1 x free lip GWP
1 x free lip glaze (new voucher from mag)
1 X 100 points (old mag)
Anyone tried this?
Went to Oxford st today...not many p&p sets left (there's some on the 2nd floor) Had a nightmare with the vouchers today!
Only managed to get p&p set + gwp + 75 points WYS £10. No 7 lady manually added 250pts from GWP. The highlighter voucher would not scan!
O well!lol off to try to get the no 7mens product + 100pts (new mag) + 250 pts GWP + £5 off no7
Mags Update
Oxford St (sedley place - huge store) has the old mags
Oxford st (smaller one near Primark/Marble Arch) has the new mags in0 -
I love MSE and this boots grabbit bargains. Whenever I used to get vouchers from boots, I used to throw them away and not bother with the products, but since reading these posts, decided to get clever like everyone else and use my vouchers!! have saved £18 at my local boots and got loads of goodies using my £5 off voucher, coupons from magazines and the ones I receive through the post. I have got that Olay cream that I dont want, worth £19.99 for £5, so selling on ebay. Not had much luck yet, but you never know!!! I love MSE and thank you to all you lovely people for making all these suggestions. On a tight budget and this is great for saving money.
The SA in Boots couldnt belive I had saved £18 by using all my coupons, and earned more boots points!!0 -
Just did the Highlighter, other No7 item, GWP combo 4 times (thanks to Bargain Mad for sending me the highlighter vouchers)! Also used up 3x 200 points vouchers on No7 (the xmas 07 ones that work with cosmetics too) and 1x 250 points on No7 (from the current GWP) but this didn't scan so a very nice SA added these manually for me. Also tried a 150 points when you spend £20 from the ACM. Had 1 refused by a SA because after the other vouchers the total spend was less than £20, 1 accepted and went through fine (but I'd bought other things too so actual cash spent was more than £20) and the other was accepted but when I checked the receipt it hadn't gone on?!
Made 2 little mistakes though on other products. Bought some Boots own Ibuprofen (think the dreaded tonsilitus is back) and forgot to activate the half price health club voucher first.
Then I had 2x PC Half Price Boots Expert (Baby and Mother to be) so used one on BOGOF Expert Baby wipes. Went through as £1.19 for the 2 packs (should be £2.39 each) which was fine. So did another transaction and bought 6x of the wipes and used my 2nd PC voucher but.....it only discounted the first 2 so paid normal price for the other 4 (still got the BOGOF price though so wasn't too bad). I didn't realise that the voucher would only work on the 1st item, thought it would include all of the Boots Expert items on the 1 tranaction but never mind.
Thanks to Broclo for sending me the 300 points on Oral B brush heads, it arrived this morning. Used it on the 4 pack floss action brush heads which were also a 1/3 off so that was fab as they're soooo expensive.
So not a bad shop in case anyone's interested these are the No7 items I've treated myself to: Cocooning Body Balm (after reading a recommendation on here), Intelligent Balance Night Fluid (after I got the day one reduced to £4.63 so free with a pink voucher last week), Heavenly Hydration Mask (after another recommendation on here, and it looks quite interesting, lol) and the Time Resisting Hand Cream (I get quite dry hands with having 2 little ones so lots of hand washing).
DH is just cooking dinner, I've just painted my nails (and DD's, lol) with the nail varnish from a GWP and think a nice bath after dinner is looking good so I can use all of my goodies!
Thanks to all of you lovely ladies who take the time to post the glitches, baragins and even vouchers. I wouldn't have had a clue what I was missing without you lot. Think I'm addicted to this thread.
I've got quite a few PC vouchers etc left which I'll list on here over the next couple of days when I get a chance. Hopefully they may come in handy for one of you.:smileyhea Proud Mummy of 2 :smileyheaTotally addicted to Boots glitches & the Next sales!0 -
Whooooo hooo 14 boxes:eek: , thats good going with out even leaving the house!
I think my OH might notice 14 boxes...But I will go and have a look at Tesco now, thanks for the heads up on that one. I tend to get stuck on the this part of the site, so it's really nice when others post good bargains from other places......
Keeping on Boots topic, My order has changed about 10mins ago to being sent:T :T :TI just had a knock at the door and it was the delivery man....with 14 parcels:eek:
All courtesy of this site:beer:
Most important was the 3 P&Ps ordered Friday....yeah!!!!!! (and it keeps this post on Boots topic:rotfl:)
Next several parcels were from Tesco.com toy sale.....superb bargains. The Bratz dolls for £2.80 each are these ones on Argos.....boy was I shocked cos I thought they were little pocket type dolls for that amount....the box is about 15in tall:eek: The rest of the toys were fab value and made up for missing out on Boots.com toys that I wanted.
Next was the Additions.com Leapad and four books and carry bag....for an amazing £5.
I love MSE0
