I found MSE back in A/W 2003 when studying for a Postgrad. At first I was cautious about acting on the (very interesting) info I found there - who was this Martin Lewis and what made him the (moneysaving)expert! But now my family could tell you I trust MSE implicitly and never buy into anything without checking what you have to say about it first!

You have fundamentally changed my approach to finance; my fiancee and I are now debt free and you have proven invaluable to us most recently as we are buying our first home. Keep up the good work - a remarkable public service.

As a naturally parsimonious (downright mean, actually ) person, this site was a fantastic discovery for me (and my family) and is the first place we check for anything new on how to keep more of our money for our use and away from the profit-making businesses.

It has a great community and I spend a lot of time reading through the forum posts, which are extremely enlightening too.

Can't believe the savings I have made and continue to make by referring to this site most days.

It's the first point of reference when any insurance is due for renewal, and the weekly email is a great Heads-Up to some things I would not have spotted in my usual trawl of the forums.

Add to that the savings I make every week by hardly paying anything for my shopping in 'real money' any more (newbies - do check out the coupon threads and how to use coupons instore to cover any food shopping). And then there's having my holidays paid for by Tesco.....wow!

I only found the site in January but it has helped me change my mindset. The advice on the site has prevented me getting into a mess financially. I sleep so much better these days!

I came by chance and just looked at the website for a while and I registered up and I havent looked back since I have so many friends in the Health and beauty forum and its all thanks to this website as without it,I wouldnt have made such firm friendships,thank you to Martin and the team for creating MSE and I hope it goes from strength to strength and continues to grow and generate even more new members to the site in the future and years to come
