  • Dear customer
    We refer to your order for ****** - 8ft Bouncy Castle with Slide at 70p, which we recently received.
    The Focus website contains a large number of products and it appears that, despite our best efforts, the price of this particular product stated on the Focus website at the time you placed your order was incorrect. The correct price is £70.

    This discrepancy came to light after you placed your order. Whilst we automatically charge the correct price where the price quoted is more than the correct price we do reserve the right to reject orders where a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on the website.
    In this instance the price shown on the Focus website was so significantly below the correct price that we have decided that we must reject your order, in accordance with paragraph 5 of our Conditions of Business.
    The error has now been corrected and if you still wish to order this product at the correct price please would you place a further order.
    Please accept our apologies for the disappointment and any inconvenience caused by this error, which we deeply regret.
    Yours sincerely

    Aww shame maybe next time

    Not able to check my email as I'm at work till 1am but have been keeping an eye on the my account section of the focus website and its just gone from issued for despatch to cancelled so I guess I have an email in the box waiting for me telling me this.

    Oh well always worth a try its got me other things in the past, where its been a decent company that honoured small orders for items (most were as big if not bigger than the difference here) but lets face it focus are in severe trouble with the old finances so they were less likely to honour the deal.
    I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • I got an e-mail about the refund, but it doesnt say anything abouyt the p&p. Will this be refunded? Does anyone know when?

  • I may be feeling disgrunted that i my order too has been cancelled :rotfl: but just thought what if there is now an issue with postage and the fact that focus are in financial difficultes and they knew loads of us would hammer the site in hope of a good deal, they rake in the postage costs to make their bank balances look better and hey presto! god i must be being cynical in me ole age of 32:rolleyes:

    Have you paid for the bouncy castle and the money gone from you account. I could have it wrong but doesnt this constitute a legal sale under the sales of goods act!!!
    I hope that my child, looking back on today
    Will remember a mother who had time to play;
    Because children grow up while you're not looking,
    There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
    So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
