i cant lay my hands on my contract of emplpyment so i am wondering how to find out if i sm affected without suspision ?
i have not joined the union and my job does not involve dealing woth any money ...
Jono...you have a PMWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I left very quickly, escorted down the side staircase so no-one would see me. Management even explained to my colleagues that I was sick.
The manager who ultimately recited the HR speel, told me on the way to the door that it wasn't the decision he wanted to make. HR is a strong ruling hand in local management.0 -
I am disgusted with RBS. What an awful way to treat anyone.
As advised previously, get on the phone to ACAS asap and good luck.0 -
I understand how you're feeling - I lost two jobs in a row due to disability, the second of which followed a scary level of harassment and bullying from HR and management. At the time, it felt like the worst thing in the world, and my bankruptcy followed a few months afterwards.
I can honestly say now that it is the best thing that ever happened to me - the job was dreadful anyway, the people were awful and my life is completely different now.
I didn't have the strength to fight what happened - I was too worn down, too humiliated and my only regret is that I didn't make them accountable for their actions. If I had my time again, I would have taken it as far as possible but I just wanted to forget it all. If you can, expose them for what they are - it's not even about the money, it's the principle of it.
Interestingly, I'm now in the career I wanted to be in before I settled for that awful job - I look forward to hearing about your first illustrating gig0 -
Thank you - I am sorry to hear you've had a difficult time, but glad it all turned around for you!
I will take RBS to count over this. I will not be bullied by a company that treats its employees and customers so badly. I now have that courage because I don't have to face them on a day to day basis! They are wrong.0 -
Good for you
Just wanted to wish you the best of luck.

Just to add how  I have been on reading your thread. Especially the underhand tactics used by RBS (Royal Bullsh***ing Society) on denying having received confirmation from your OR!!! I'm glad we can all see RBS's use of RBS (Real Bull Sh**) for what it is!! I really hope things in the complaint department go well, and really glad you feel empowered now!:D:D
I hope things go better for you from here on in. Good Luck with your complaint:)

Og god....
I've just ready your threag and I'm SH*T scared
I'm and RBS employe and am in debt My mananger does know and we have meetings regularly about my 'financial problems'... my Big mananger even knows about it and they know i've debt management plan with the CCCS. THings have got hard in the last few months. Food & utilities prices are expanding out of conrol and i've missed as CCCS payment and have debtors on the phone again.
I'm worried how this will afffect my job. I love my job, really love it and in line for training to become a TM
I feel trapped. My partner has been out of work for over 2 yrs and is the main daytime carer our son. I'm trying so hard. I scrimp on shopping, the bill come out straight away, so I'm left with barely anything just days after being pad, then left to cope on weekly scraps of tax credits
Do I jst talk to the CCS and ask for help.. do I go to my debt manangement team and consolidate my unauthorised overdraft of £200 ish or speak to my TM who will be dissapointed and most likely say i'm not ready for promotion?Paula0 -
To the poster above me, Im so sorry, you are working so hard. My advise would be to see your union rep asap and get advice.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0
