Sharp Practice by 3?
I took out an 18 month deal with 3 around a year ago. The deal was £35 per month and, at the time, I understood that I could downgrade after 12 months by up to 1 price point at a time.
As the plan has more mins and texts than physically possible to use (slight exageration, brain tumour aside), I downgrade last month to a £30 plan. I phoned this month to downgrade again to a £25 plan and was very disappointed to find that all of the old price plans which were available when I took out the phone had been closed down with the exception of a single very poor plan. There are a bunch of new mix&match plans which seem to be pretty decent but, as the advert goes, they're for brand new customers only.
Has anyone else had any experience with this kind of thing on 3? I think it's pretty sharp practice to lock people into over-priced and unsuitable price plans like this. Come June, I'm off elsewhere.
