  • Good morning all!

I'm off to a good start, having got up at 5.30 to take DH to work!

Galant - Ouch! Poor you. Big hugs and hope you feel better soon! Good luck with the "No Smoking".

Soappie - lemon and ginger tea, wheat bags, fleecy blankets and chicken soup! With a big hug!

KM - you'll be fine. Take it steady and start to enjoy your "new" home!

Crafty Scholar - it's not really a library. It should be the fifth bedroom, but coz of DS, we turned it in to a den with TV, PS etc and all the books, with a sofa bed. Doctor's orders that his bedroom doesn't have any electricals!

Shelley - :bdaycake: for yesterday. Hope it was a good one!

:rotfl:about "special". My DD's very non-PC with DS. "Shall we take the cripple out today on the Sunshine Bus? We've got to be nice to him coz he's special!"

    Engadine, Trulymadlydeeply - Welcome!

Jill - I was going to get my list laminated then Pigpen changed it all!

Gunsandbanjos - good luck to OH on new job. Mine's looking. He's not had a pay rise in 3 years, (and in fact is on £150 than when DS was a baby!!!) so even tho I have, we've not felt the benefit!

    Morning everyone,
Just having a quick cuppa and some chocolate orange. Have loads to do today, but I've made a start which is good. I stripped our bed and linen currently in WM.
Have emptide DW, washed saucepans, given kitchen S&S.
I'm working my way through getting all children's stuff that they've left lying around back in their rooms and tidying.
I'm going to have to hoover through and maybe wash the floors downstairs.
Just closing the door on the children's rooms cause they are worse than messy!!
I've also got to do a Tesco order and order some coal.

I've been meaing to join in with this for ages now - I just can't keep on top of everything these days. But as from next week I'm upping my hours at work - add in my Uni course, OH, DS, and 2 dogs and I need to get organised.
Can I just ask - do the same tasks come round each week? I'm looking to draw up a rota for the week every sunday, so it would be good to have a weeks worth of tasks to do.
    Thanks :)
  • Welcome to the madhouse Sharra, its always the same rooms though not always in the same order. Roughly the same tasks though. You could always work off the previous weeks thread, then you can print off a whole weeks worth of lists.

  • have to say sometimes it is work printing of a previous week just so you have the list to hand - no excuses then. Especially if MSE is down for maintenance or Pigpen or Lil-me haven't updated the first page for whatever reason.

One rule to remember is to not try and play catch up. If you can't do one day then remember it will com around again the next week. Generally Saturday/Sunday can be used for things that you didn't get round to that may NEED to get done-if of course you have the time and the inclination

    Hello Sharra.

I'm off out to hang the washing out now, and by the time I've done that, it'll be time for my friend to pick me up to go to Brighton for the day.

    Have a nice day everyone!
