My HHC was a bit of a failure, my dad phoned me, then my mum phoned for a chat:rotfl: Did however get 10 mins done on my stepper that i unearthed under my bed.

Also cleaned the mirrors in my room, wetwiped the chest of drawers and put bits and pieces back in their rightful places. Need to go close the window now as it effin freezing.

Anyways, I hoovered downstairs till it overheated, so have to finish that. I also did clothes folding. I have to finish up in my bedroom, but I need to wait till bedlinen can be put back on the bed cause there is duvets and pillows everywhere. I've done my shopping list, just have order it now, then the hoover should have cooled down, so I'll finish that..

Hey pigpen, any idea when its kids rooms....I think I'm going to have to threathen to go in with a bin bag if they don't tidy them and I want to make sure that its on a day I've got time to do it...no point threatening if I can't follow through.

Its freezing cold here too, but lovely and sunny so I feel quite motivated, I'm geeting hungry though so I'm going to have to have food soon.

One load of washing on the line, it's nice and sunny again.

I'm working to my own list today. I do like to do the kitchen on Monday, it feels right to me. I gave it a really good go today, the sun is nice but it really shows up the dust! Everything properly cleaned and I vacuumed out the freezer drawer where the seeded bread had shed everywhere. Been trying to remember to do that for two days. I also took everything out of the shoe cupboard and put 4 pairs out for recycling tomorrow and vacuumed and wiped that out before putting them back tidily. Wonder how long that will last.

Damp wiped living room and vacuumed in there and then down hallway and kitchen. Damp wiped computer desk in hallway too.

I think I'll do my bedroom tomorrow because it's still supposed to be nice but cloudier on Wednesday. Washing always smells so nice and fresh when it's been out in the sun.

I haven't got any knickers to throw out. I usually keep 3 or 4 pairs on the go (I do washing every day) and when they wear out I chuck them straightaway and start a new pair. I keep a stock of new ones in ready.

I just did this:o I have the black bag sitting outside her room, its so infuriating and i hate being shouty mum but her room was all tidy and then she emptied her whole toybox out... might just go check on progress:rolleyes: Progressing nicely, she is pretending she's a digger and picking up all the toys.

Friday.. we have all lost motivation by then so it doesn't matter if it doesn't get done.. IMO.. But just for you.. TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

Morning everyone, so many of you have been so busy this morning!

I work from home so in today but out at meetings Tues, Wed & Thurs so busy week ahead!

So far today in between working I have done 2 washings and hung them out, just waiting on the 3rd to finish then that will go out as well. Cleared up all the packaging and put it in the garage from my new sofa that was delivered this morning.

OH on nights last night and tonight so will make a start on the bedroom and landing stuff once he gets up later this afternoon.

Just a quick pop in - it's half term here this week so I will be flying but kids won't let me on laptop long enough to read the thread!!

I've made my bed now and hoovered half the stairs. Its going well but I'm starting to grind to a halt....
I have a middle part of my wardrobe I need to sort out and the children have put a couple of bags of stuff that they don't want in my room that I need to sort through too. I also have to dust....oh, and I've got some filing to do..

Ok, ok...I'm going to dust while I've got the windows open, then have lunch and see how I feel after that. All the other stuff , I can do this evening when children in bed, or this afternoon when children are back from school. I will finish the hoovering as and when the hoover works....

Hi all, I would like to join your thread. Been reading/posting a bit on the de-clutter thread. Had a good weekend cleaning as girls out sat night/sun morning so have already done some of the things on the list for today. I really really really need to get my backside kicked and keep on top of the cleaning, then the de-clutter won't be so bad. I'm at work today, normally day off but boss on holiday so my day off this week is Wed. I work 4 days and find by the evening after 'kids' being done and fed and whatever else they need, I really don't feel like doing anything. But I must!
I will post later tonight and hopefully I will have done at least half the list then I will be very pleased.

Just finished lunch. The angry mum worked, all toys are back in the toybox;) Ordered some bits and pieces off avon, if anyone is interested they are doing free standard delivery today, code is DELIVERY. They also have some good bargains:D
