Speed cameras often run out of film very quickly(especially in London) so being flashed can mean nothing. If you've not heard by now then you are fine. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Unless she has recently acquired the vehicle, or is not the registered keeper, or has moved house.
Only the first NIP has to reach the registered keeper within 14 days.
OP, wait and see if you get one. If you do, keep the envelope and come back here.0 -
I also recall seeing that they only bother to stop you if your 4mph or 10% over the speed limit (whichever is more) to allow for inaccuracies (its the same with speed cameras)
Also as said the speedo almost always reads over so to actually be pulled over, you would be looking at about doing 38-40mph on the speedo.
Note though that coppers on the beat (ie in a car) will be very different as they are using the same tool as you to measure speed, so they will be pulling you over at 30-35mph on the speedo depending on their mood and how well they understand the inaccuracies of speedometers.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -

Are you responding to the 2 year old post or Coco Princess post??
I would gues that if it were the 2yr old post, they would know by now :rotfl:0 -
i wouldnt worry about it to much
they usually use a 10% disrection on speed so they usually allow upto 33mph
and they are supposed to clock your speed on an average of 300 metres
on the flipside with a hand held device rather than a static camera you will here pretty quickley if you have been snapped and it will be £60 and 3 points if you dont dispute it..
Might be 2 years old, but I can assure you they do not have to track you for 300 mts with laser detection devices.........or gatsos for that matter.0 -
Or use any kind of detection device at all, in fact. But let's not go there.0

Think you would be extremely unlucky at 32 mph.
