T-Mobile Upgrade / Help Please
Hello all,
I have been with T-Mobile for 18 months now with a SE K800i, which I bought when the phone was new. I was on a Flext 25 for six months and then I downgraded to a Flext 20 for the remainder of the contract.
I have telephoned with respect to my upgrade and the operative on the other end claimed that there was no movement on prices. He offered me the exact same deal as was on the internet claiming that as it was an 'expensive' phone (Samsung G600) there was no discount that he could offer me. I then said well I can just rejoin and he said the advantage here was that I could 'keep' my number, in spite of the fact that telephone numbers are portable. Also, he claimed that although the offer for 18 month Flext 25 (£20 per month and £40 for phone) was on the internet some people had to pay more due to failing credit checks...
What shall I do now in order to get the best deal? I must admit I'm quite disappointed with T-Mobile's conduct.

I phoned the cancellation line and said I wanted to leave because I could get a competitive deal with a different provider, and that had I been a new customer they would have given me a different deal and I didn't consider that they were loyal to their current customer base.
They then agreed to honour the same offer.
Have you looked at any other deals?
My husband got a G600 on Thurs from dialaphone...12 months contract with tmobile, £35 per month, 10 months half price line rental and £60 cash back from quidco. I'm jealous as I stayed on my own tarriff and just got my upgraded handset for free LOL
