It has been 3 days now and Paypal have not done anything. The status of my dispute is still the same Awaiting other party's response. Do you think I will get my money back and when?
  • I am in exactly the same position as you! Bought an item off ebay for £60 on Sunday and paid via paypal. Emailed to asked if funds were received - seller confirmed and said that the item would be with me Wednesday. It's Thursday now and I haven't received anything PLUS the seller is no longer a registered ebay user! I've just tried to open a dispute on ebay but apparently, it's too soon and I've to wait till 2 March. Getting worried as £60 is quite a bit of money for me.

Let me know how you got on with your dispute and claim. Is it true that you only get your money back if the seller has funds in his paypal account? Seeing as he's scarpered off ebay, I'd assume that he'd clear his paypal account as well?
