this week they seem to have had issues, normally it is ok and quite quick, Monday was a complete no go but was still slowish this morning
  • Was really pleased after using the switch link to have saved myself about £150 a year :)(plus £10 cashback :)and as I am a tesco clubcard holder also 1000 points :)and I will earn points on my gas &leci bills :)). However I am also left feeling frustrated as I have received my e-mails from poewergen and also found the site very slow. >:( Have given up for today, will try again tomorrow). Maybe it is due to the popularity of this site????????

I'm on broadband and I'm having problems to.

Having switched to the internet service, I'm worried that this will be the service that they will provide.

I'm trying to read the messages that they have sent to my personal file, but when the login screen comes up and you input your details, it dosn't want to log you in.

I can only hope they get this sorted out otherwise I might of made a big mistake. :o

Exactly my worry!! THe welcome messages which i had was, Term & Conditions, Welcome, Your Contract.
Nothing that really needs immediate attention there.
But also I had to set up/agree my Direct Debit amount/details.
Mine was set at £21 a month, I would of been happy at £25 even. Thats for Gas & Electric by the way - lol :o

But yeah the web site is very worrying especially after setting up a Online Account - just hope they get it sorted soon >:(

if you sign up to powergen energ online, you must give them your e-mail address. this is to ensure that they can mail you your info. this is the only internet tariff from powergen, so if you receive the e-mail, then you're online.

Agree that they need the email address, but all they do send you is a email saying that you have mail on there website to read.

How can you read there email when you can't read it?!

As a quick follow up, I tried again today just before posting this, the Login came up fast, the menu after logging in came up fast . . . .
the view my mail bit. . . unavailable, please try later >:( >:(

I want to read my mail!!

That is exactly what I was getting. They have my e-mail address and my Direct Debit. It would be so much easier for us all if they would send the message with their e-mail.

I joined the cheap phone company Call18866 and found their site very simple. They send the bill by e-mail so that I do not have to go back onto their site to view it. It is then paid by DD. I find their product superb!

With Powergen they are generation traffic on their site and they cannot cope with it

have checked with powergen, apparently they should be sorting most of this out this weekend, so you may receive a phone call.

acording to sources, powergen energy online tariff is very popular at the moment due to the cheapness, and more people than they anticipated have signed up online. don't worry... this should be sorted out soon.
