Sorry for the moan..... Been dumped a couple of weeks ago and looking for somewhere else to live. I feel so stupid for having all this debt because now it's stopping me from being able to afford anything, even grotty roomshares, and I feel totally doomed and alone tonight. Can't stop crying and just wish my boyfriend would change his mind. Feel like I will be in debt forever and it's all my own stupid fault if I have to live in damp mouldy basements.

I was dumped by my ex-wife and ended up with £8000 debts 14 years ago (BIG amount then) but kept going despite , did MSE "old style" before MSE existed so I DO know how you feel !!
I have cleared it all in the end , despite how impossible it seemed at the time

Unfortunately being skint is all about feeling crap - or it was until I found out I wasn't alone and there were lots of people on here trying to deal with the same stuff.
I know it sucks, but we're all in the same boat so if you ever want a moan then you're in company who understand :grouphug:Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Keep in there. Things always seem worse than they are. I've received some really bad news and am just refusing to think about it ... prolly moan about it later
Take care,Help me to help you :santa2:0 -

Things will get better and you will find somewhere to live.I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

S*d the ex-boyf ... your better off without him. If it's not right then it's better to find out sooner rather than later babe. His loss not yours at the end of the day. I know it's probably hard to accept that right now but it's true in my humble opinion.
Don't ever feel alone ... there are always so many friendly faces here who are in similar positions and ready with a (((HUG)))
You are dealing with your debt ... you're on here and look at your sig ... over £475 in less than 7 weeks!!!! I'm proud of you even if your not
I've been through some really crappy times (then again think most of us on here have) and felt very alone and the DFW's have always been there for me ... might sound sad to some but it really is a mutual support thing on here. I've concluded that things happen for a reason ... even though we may not realise what it is until looking back in hindsight.
Anyway, enough of my babbling.. I think ur doing brilliantly and everything will work out for the best ... they just needed to get a bit worse before they can get better.
