I have just received my latest mobile phone bill and on it is a charge of 50p for a "premium messaging service received".

I'm concerned because I have never texted the number 85010 having checked all my bills since connection and the mobile hasn't even been switched on for the past six months.

Although it's a small amount, I'm not very happy that a company can send you a text message and you get charged for it when you have never asked for it in the first place.

Three tell me the message came from a company called "www.dialogue.co.uk" Are they known spammers?

I just hope that next month's bill won't contain more premium rate messages.

Oh and I never actually found out what the message was because it never appeared on my phone!

The only way to deal with these mobile companies is to pay your bill minus the disputed amount. They soon get the message. Or ditch them.

No they are a reputable company that rent out short text codes to businesses for promotions and help them run them etc.85010 has been used in various campaigns.

If you mail them on support@dialogue.co.uk with full details they will be able to tell you who was useing 85010 at that time.
