I done the Pass Plus as soon as I passed my test! I also have my parents on my policy.

If you have a spare phone - sell one on ebay if you still have it. It's amazing what is lying around when you start looking!!
Is the other phone out of contract? If so, I would ditch it and just use the one phone."Stay Wonky":D

if your car was 10k and the insurance is high, can't you get a smaller, cheaper to run car?0
-
Unfortunately not, I took out a new contract on the 1st of December, so still have considerable amount of time to run on it!0

Not really, I do 60 miles a day - I need a diesel to save on cost, currently I'm doing 55 Miles Per Gallon!
Can't really go any smaller, it's a 1.6 Fiesta!0 -
That's not bad on mileage at all then. Are you living at home?
How much is each phone contract per month? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Yes, living at home with the Parents!
Phone bills are roughly £40 and £20. I never use the older contract now, so it's just sitting there until it runs out!0 -
Strikes me that given your current situation you've got the right aims - pay off the credit cards then pay off the car debt then live day-to-day on less than your earning so you can build up some savings.
The only thing I'd suggest is perhaps in future try to avoid buying things on credit (eg. the PC and whatever your spent the £1100 on your CC) but that's because, personally, I find that after saving for things it makes me a lot more reluctant to part with the cash - I still buy the things I want but tend to shop around more and buy something that'll do the job rather the latest/flashiest/priciest kit.0 -
I agree with everything you say! At my age, it's just all to easy to get a credit card with the aim to pay it off monthly - but in most cases it just builds up and up!0

I've decided to try and pay off at least £500 a month on my credit card....do you think I'll have the budget to do that?
Again, cheers for the help!0
