does anyone know why the show is asking only for couples???? ( being a poor single parent, for years!!! But this site is improving my chances of being less poor at least! :-) )
I'm sure I'll watch it, just curious that's all
And all those people who left such rude, ignorant comments obviously haven't visited this site!!!

The show does seem to be marketed in a very ITV way - and calling it make me rich doesn't really help its cause.

Please remember be NICE to other moneysavers, this board is a place of support for people who want to get out of debt not a place to slag off people who happen to be in debt. By the time they post on here they are at rock bottom in a lot of cases and they don't need someone who has never been in debt having a go.

If you can't post something helpful please find somewhere else to post.

    Thanks

    Facts on what Ceegee???
IT is a fact that house price boom has destroyed many peoples chances to enter the housing ladder.
IT is fact that this country is now at its knees carrying the biggest debt it has ever seen
IT is a fact that there is a correlation between Debt and rising house prices.
IT is fact that now more bankruptcies than 1991 (recession) are occuring
IT is a fact there is a correlation between cheap credit and bankruptcies
IT is fact that per individual in the UK, they are carrying more debt than ever.
IT is fact that unemployment is rapidly rising because we can no longer sustain the credit industry which has been the UK economic backbone for the last 4 years.

What other facts do you want?
Please feel free to correct where I am wrong!

Just to play devil's advocate here: correlation should not be assumed to imply causation. First rule of statistics
    Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
    Current debt: £14,000.00
    Debt free date: June 2008

I never said correlation implied causation.
Nobody held a gun to a persons head and made them take out credit.
I do think the Government has a lot to play in the part of blame though.

Delboypass....please stop generalising. None of those facts apply to me, nor do I imagine that they apply to everyone on this site.
Also, please stop being so aggressive in your responses. You may be trying to wind people up....I don't know. I do know, however, that you are not really worth responding to when you're posting in such an aggressive and offensive manner. So, as of now, I shall ignore you and won't respond to any of your silly posts.

    Goodbye, Delboypass, goodbye......................

    Ceegee,
I do not know how you perceive my last post to be aggressive? You asked me about facts and i gave you some facts. I dont know what other facts you wanted. My posts are not ' in childs terms' silly unless you are able to back this up.
How am i generalising? Of course i am generalising if I am speaking about the economy and factual information?
How am i trying to wind people up? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
