Java games for Samsung E530?

I've just received my new Samsung E530. It states that the phone supports Java but when i look on mobile game sites none have got my phone in the compatability section

what network is your new phone on?? if it is on o2 go to https://www.o2.co.uk/games ot try samsungmobile.co.uk. before you download make sure yout handset is compatible!!

I'm on the 02 network, i've had a look but my phone isn't listed. In my Samsung manual it says my phone is Java enabled to except downloadable games..do you think it's because the phone is new out so it may not be listed in their compatability list?

hi kimberley you are correct in what you say. the samsung you have is new and although it is java enabled it may not be at this stage compatible with any java games. o2 run tests on new handsets for compatibility with games rimgtones etc. this generally happens with new handsets so hoefully should be on the list soon. other companies ie monstermob jamster etc may have games for your handset but i would advise you stay well clear or you may find yourself paying for a load of premier sms charged from 1.50 upwards. :rolleyes:

I'll wait then, i've e mailed 02 to see if they intend to list it in their website for their games, i want Tetras you see..:)

i would not imagine you would need to wait long. phone manufactuters are constantly bringing out new handsets to win competition from others.

Just phoned 02 and my phone will be able to receive Java applications in the next 3 weeks.. :j as it's a new phone :rolleyes: It's a very nice phone as well
