Feedback down to a Trickle!!

Just a quick question...has anyone else noticed that feedback from buyers has reduced to a trickle.
I have been selling a load of things to clear the house, I have 100% feedback, send things the same day as payment if poss, do not make more than 20p on postage and send loads of e mails telling the buyer what I am doing.
Out of 25 items only 3 have left feedback and they are newbies with less than 10 rating who obviously want to build up their score.
I think that with the new system coming in a lot of buyers think that if they are not going to get feedback points then why should they bother, even if the transaction was a great one.
So lets look forward to just the Victor Meldrews of this world leaving neg feedback for a 1p profit on postage.:rotfl:

They still will get points on feedback received, the change is that negative or neutral can't be left for a buyer, positives can and still contribute to a score..0 -
I've noticed it too0

YEh i noticed too.. but it doesnt bother me too much. As i find that those who can be bothered to leave feedback now, are generally really pleased with the item... so they will leave feedback saying things like "wow!!! best seller ever! love it! will buy again, fast delivery!" etc... rather than "good".... I hate feedbacks like that lolI

Could it be that they're first time buyers? I bought my first thing off ebay the other day, then tried to leave feedback because I was impressed by the seller's speed etc., but wasn't allowed to because I hadn't been a member long enough.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)

Is this true because before and after Christmas I've sold a couple of items to people with less than 10 and they've not left me any feedback although I have received emails from them thanking me for swift delivery and that they're happy with item.0

Yes it's true, when I tried to leave the feedback, it said that I had to have been a member for at least 5 days. I thought it was stupid, but left a note to myself to remind me to try again a week later, but there was no reminder from ebay or anything so if I hadn't remembered, then the seller wouldn't have had the feedback they deserved.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)

I've noticed more and more petty neutrals and negs being left for sellers over the last week, and I believe this is because many buyers think the "no retalitory negs" rule is already in place. How shocked will they be when they get one back!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

Basically at some point later this spring sellers will no longer be able to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers. Buyers however will still be able to leave any feedback they like for a seller.
