    Many leases have a clause about no electrical items to be used after 2300.

    So no turning on lights for me, then.

    Your freeholders ought to be careful. You live above them I think and could make life VERY unpleasant for them if you so chose. They are being unreasonable. I assume you have tried talking to them about this although I know that some neighbours don't even respond to reasonable offers of come around for a glass of wine ( even though it is my birthday ) and we can talk about it!

    Next time you see them - whisper in a menacing voice "I don't like people who don't like cats and I'll be watching you" and then miaow. Mioaw each time you see them. If they ever try and pursue it - deny doing it and then they will look mad.
  • Fit laminate flooring and fit 'blakeys' to your slippers. (Those metal tips on the toe and heel) and tap dance everytime you move from room to room.
