    Looks like this is eventually sorted though with no help from 3 who do not give a damn (as expected) so long as they get contracts signed !

    I stuck to my guns and demanded that RedCube listen to the sales calls (recorded) and wehn they did so they agreed to send me stamps and an envelope so that I could return the phone free of charge.

    It is amazing that it seems to be legal to phone somebody up and pretend you are somebody else. I would have called it fraud !


    Just make sure that you send it back by registered post and nothing lesser as they have lied to you, you need proof and insurance that the phone is returned to them even if it will leave you a few quid out of pocket but would give you 100% peace of mind.

    The phone went back a couple of weeks ago in the envelope they supplied with their stamps on it !
    I did get a receipt of posting which is free and proves that I posted something to them !

    In last i paid 13 bills for 12 month contract.I asked them to refund my money 25gbp as they charge for one month in advance but when i enquired they said in hard tone -although we send u the bill in advance but still it is not considered as advance!!!! Even in india the mobile companies are really good in customer service but three treat the customer as a animal.

    Even in India the hutch(3g) reputation is really bad and hutch mobile conusmers face same problems .No body prefers them.So i think the aim of this company is to make profits thats it no customer service.

    Just read your post forgive me if i'm wrong bit i didn't think 3 done cashbacks aren't all deals directly from 3 discounted line rentals?
    All the cashback offers i have seen have been through dealers i.e Carphone warehouse,Dailaphone etc.

    I have had two cashback deals and have had no problems at all, although Carphonewarehouse now seem to take a longtime to send out the cheques.
    I know with the Carphonewarehouse that bills have to recieved by them up to a month after the issue date, if you are saying 3 deliberatly wait two months to send a bill that's another matter.

    I can understand that some dealers might want to hag on the casbacks as long as possible (money in the bank) but you can't blame 3 for that, 3 do have lot to answer for and i'm not there greatest fan but wouldn't blame them for sometime totally out of there control.

    Ha Ha - On Friday I had an Indian chap call me saying he was from 3 and wondering if I had received my phone ! He said his name was Robin Williams - what a joker !

    I asked him if he really did work for 3 and he said he did. I told him that if he worked for 3 then he would be able to see the complete history of the situation. He reiterated that he definitely worked for 3. I asked him about Redcube mobile and he went into a spiel about how redcube mobile is the only operator in the UK that sells 3 mobile solely. I then asked him if red cube mobile was owned by 3 and he said yes it was !! I told him that 3 customer services had told me that redcube had nothing whatsoever to do with 3 apart from being a dealer. He then asked me if I had received the phone. I told him that as he worked for 3 he would know that not only had I received the phone, but that I had returned it and cancelled all payments. He asked me why so I told him that somebody (just like him) had called me form India and said that they were 3 and had lied to me about the nature of the contract and so I has sent the phone back. He said that he would raise this with his boss and that they would look into it and call me back in an hour.

    My last comment was ' you do understand that I do not believe you work for 3 don't you' he said yes and that they would call me back.

    They haven't yet !
