Well, they'll know as much as the OH did when he booked me a holiday 5 years ago to Prague for my birthday - we got to the check-in desk to find that he needed a visa!

£800 down the drain.

One year later, and I booked it back as a thank you, and - of course, I checked - they'd allowed Ozzies by then!

Hopefully, that will not happen to them.

You had all the best intentions, anyway, and the comper took their chances. You were not intending to defraud, but to help.

How can they have booked it? Thought you have to send them an email (or go on this website) then give 3 choices of flights, they then check this and confirm one of them wihthin 14 days. Right? Well that's at least what I have done

I gave the flight away, it went to an mser, who said she is able to use it with another flight she won, i took that as meaning she can fly with it.
Im getting cross questioned over this when i thought id been nice and not sold it to profit.

Hi All
I was the person who Toni very kindly gave the flight to - just to clarify, I haven't yet booked the flight, but I did PM Toni to say 'got it' and that I could hopefully use the flight along with the ticket that I previously won with Jet2.

I'm sorry for mis-leading Toni - my fault for crap choice of wording! - When I said 'got it' I meant the validation code she sent me, but I know now that it probably sounded like I'd 'got' the flight sorted!!

Dunno if all that makes sense but I would just like to thank Toni for being so lovely in sending me her win & the lovely PM's she sent.
Toni - you are an :A :A :A :A :A - don't feel bad - you DID do a really generous thing & whether I can use it or not I really appreciate your kindness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still haven't checked out if I can use the flight or not, but will let you know how it goes!!
