I didn't think that you could pass them on - wouldn't your name be on it, which if it was it would mean that the other person would have to pay to get it changed to their name?

I got an email, which had a winning code i had to enter on booking, The email said u have to book with passport name, the mser who had them has booked and had no probs, i know my passport is in my previous married name, so my name in theory is diff now than what it was 6 years back when i had my passport renewed. x Am not sure if i make sense .
