We have just done blackpool zoo using the vouchers off the side of cornflakes (kelloggs), free child for every adult, it was a good saving as it was about £12 for adults and £10 for children. I bought 2 boxes of cereal on the way from tesco and the 2 kids got in free. There are still alot of these promotional boxex around. Hope this helps.

my boots and tesco addictions are costing me a fortune

    april 08 : £1600
    may 08 : £1243
  • The Dr Who museum is worth a visit; it's up near the tower. Hot Ice is good (admission comes with your pleasure beach wristband price).
There is a Harry Ramsdens restaraunt along the golden mile, (Tesco vouchers valid), but HUGE queues and several McDonalds. Loads of pub/ eateries, and of course loads of fast food takeaways.
Personally, I'd keep to the main roads, some of the side streets are decidedly dodgy looking after dark!
Great place for a few days; loud, tacky and fun!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Pity you won't see the lights tho' LOR]
  • Just remembered, we got half price tickets for Louis Tussauds from a bloke nearby it, so worth keeping your eyes peeled. Competition is fierce for punters money! They even let us pay the half-price with our tesco vouchers. :j

    Top tips:
Wrap up well as it's always breezy!
Be careful when you browse the shops along the golden mile, they are full of 'adult items' need i say more?
I was shocked at how 'adult' Blackpool has become _pale_

  • family of four with two girls ages 4 & 7 years are off the Blackpool for a long weekend. Have bought Pleasure beach vouchers from eBay and have Kellogs 2 for 1 entry for Sealife centre or Zoo.

But the girls want to go in the tower, any discount out there for tower?
