I've been emailed this acouple of times now

about getting free gift cards, it looks like a con to me and seems only to be valid for US citizens.
Does anyone out there know and is it potentially bad?
thanks

I've moved your post over to the Warnings and Rip-off board. Hopefully somebody on here might have more information for you.
Welcome to MSE, by the way.0 -

Terms and conditions state you have to earn the credit, refer 5 new users to them who have to earn their credit so you can get yours.

The old saying "you never get anything for free" unless it is useless
I hate pyramid schemes as they are !!!!!! and a waste of time and apparantly illegal for them to run in the UK but not the USA0 -
It's posted on another board and someone said it asks for your Hotmail password!!!!2p off is still 2p off!0

If it sounds too good to be true etc etc..........................0

I made up a yahoo address and got onto the next screen. It then asked me for my Yahoo password. Why on earth would it want the password for my (made up) Yahoo account/address. IMO this stinks.0 -
So, it's definitely a con then? Anyone know who's behind it? If it is a pyramid type scheme, it should get banned.
Anyone else know much behind it?0 -
This really works. I registered and did the offers and got five friends to do it. All in all we spent £37,000 on the offers andthen I got a cheque for £250.
Well when i say cheque I mean a book of vouchers which give me fabulous discounts eg I have booked a week in a caravan in Skegness with Tomas Crook Travel Agents andI used a voucher to get £7.50 off the £2599 price. Brilliant, I can't see why more people don't join.0 -
So you had to spend £37,000 just to get £250 in vouchers ? that doesn't seem so great to me... and what exactly do you have to sign up to? It has the feel for a lot of effort and bit of a con but maybe it isn't - anyone else have any experience of it?0
