Tips for winning stuff?? - Anything will do

:huh: Hello every body ("hi doctor mick"), I havent been a member for too long on here but I have been entering all and any competitions for a few weeks now but have not yet won a sausage.

Could anybody tell me if there is a knack to this or is it down to luck?

I hope theres a knack to it as I've never really been a lucky person.:mad:

Any advice from fellow competition folk???

just keep at it, enter as many as you can. persevere, you will soon win, wins are like buses, none for a while then several at once

remember it may take a bit from first entering to getting notification of a prize or receiving the prize as the closing dates may not have passed, then they have to draw the winners and then notify them

dont give up yet!:D

Hee hee - I have been comping for about a year and must be one of the unluckiest people around - i haven't won a bean and enter about 50-60 comps a week, but some people on her have won loads of things. I think its just down to luck, the more you enter the more chances you have of winning, but obviously not in my case. Hope you win something soon! Good luck.

I started in January and have just won a small thing today ... but a couple of not real wins as well i.e. make-over and photos but £50 quid deposit - had read of others not getting deposit back .... plus a money off voucher. I think time will bring more wins and persistence ...

I won a £4k diamoind and a trip to amsterdam to pick it up.

Also I won a £3.5k trip to the himalayas with mens health magazine.

I also won a surround sound system.

Ive been entering since Jan 2007 and dont tent to bother with the small comps like cd's and dvd's.

I enter evrything else tho, gotta just keep going
