Vango Diablo 600 family tent £124.99 @ Blacks

Thanks to the OP. I've just ordered one, the 8% Quidco was the clincher.

We cut out camping teeth in a £40 tent from Aldi. I won't be suffering the same degree of tent envy on our next getaway.

I have just succumbed and bought this tent at the bargain price offered on Blacks but could anybody please tell me if anywhere does the matching large canopy for it? All I can find are the black/mercury and marine/lead- cannot find any Navy anywhere.
Increasingly campsites are not permitting gazebos anymore so would like to purchase the matching canopy for cooking under etc as with my culinary skills cooking inside the tent would be seriously hazardous....:o

I think that this is the 2005 or 2006 version of the Diablo as they changed the pod shape at some point quite recently, and more importantly here Vango do change their colours every so often. However the sun canopies only came out very recently and they're not listed on the Vango website as having been availible in 2006. So there might not be a canopy made to match the navy seeing as it's a discontinued colour.

Ask on http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/ . There's sure to be someone there that knows for definate.

PS. Had a look around and there's plenty of black ones out there at £35 including postage. The Vango colours are changing again this year, btw (Purple Vangos?? Urgghhhh....) so don't leave it to long to make up your mind. A lot of folk will be buying them at that price, for their 2007 tents.

dunno why it takes you all so long to (and there's no way of avoiding this pun-fest) "get it up". Borrowed one from a pal, he showed me how to get the tent (no, can't avoid it again sorry) erected efficiently and we had it all pegged out (at last!!!) in about 15 mins.

When we got to site, self and OH had the tent fully pegged out in under 20 mins. The wheeled trolly is indeed a great boon - whole thing packs in well and it's a doddle to manouevre around.

Liked the thing so much, trying to find one myself now. Anyone aware of any good offers for new?
