Watch out. The 2006 model is inner erection first, the 2007 is outer erection first.

So if its a 2006 and raining the inside gets wet.

Check the model year with Blacks and confirm with the Vango website.

We have the 400 and that caused enough arguments over erection. Ooh Mrs.

Childishly PMSL at indoor and outdoor erections!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

PS I bought a 'vango look a like' which looks remarkably similar to those sold at cybercheckout and it is totally crap. Poles flimsy, draughty and leaking. Anyone who buys will think camping is really miserable and will never want to go again.
  • See post 14 ref the Vango Diablo 900

Sorry didnt see the last two posts Valk Scot beat me to it!

  • Forgot to say the sewn in groundsheet is fab, zero draught. And the porch is great for the pram and boots,.

    Hi Kateo

We've got a Vango Diablo 900 which is the same as the 600 but with an extra pod on it.
Its a great tent but the only word of caution is that it does take a little time to put up so not great for short stays.
The big advantage of the Diablos is the huge porch which you can use for storage. We put our kitchen stuff, boots outdoor stuff there so out of the main tent but still under cover.

We have a Diablo 600 - that is an awesome deal. We paid double, and that was after chasing around for vouchers n deals.
We've had ours 3 years (4 this year) and it is strong, large and with a porch groundsheet as well makes it ultra camping-friendly.
    Nice spot OP

We have a Vango (Aspen), it is a superb tent, Vango customer service is 2nd to none, we had a couple of stiching issues on our flysheet and they sent us a new flysheet and inner, no quibbles at all.

and the only reason I'm not buying one of these is because I've got six other tents, and all but one a Vango. (Sixth is a Conway trailer tent...)

Come to think of it, I've not got five Vangos, I've got six....:o

The oldest one is a Vango Force 10 Mk1 OH and I bought back in the 70's ..it cost us a ludicrous proportion of our student grants, and is still as good as the day we first used it. (Cotton canvas tents last forever.) Son has a Vango Delta 300 he uses for Scouts, I've got a Vango Odyssey 300 for when I go camping with just my DD. These are all small tents of the 2-3 man variety, but we also have a 12-man Vango Colorado 1200 DLX dome tent for long trips and two Vango Oregon tunnel tents, a 600 and an 800, for various combinations of family at weekends.

    Brand loyal? You bet....:D

  • We are thinking of selling our caravan as we do not use it much, and buying a tent so that we still have the option of weekends away etc. As I know nothing about tents, are these very hard to put up? Other half does not have a lot of patience in these things, so would want to buy one as stress free as possible! Have seen that Kyham do quick erect tents (?), would we be better to buy one of them and pay more or go for this deal? Any advice?
