hi all new here so if this as been asked before then please excuse me.
i am having a problem with my Mobil phone company. they are charging me extra for 08 numbers even though i have a lot of call time left so in affect i am paying twice for phone calls is this lawful for them to do this ???

Why wouldn't it be legal? It'll say in your terms and conditions which calls are included. They'll charge for anything that isn't.

I don't know of any mobile operator that includes 08 numbers as part of a call allowance. I think O2 used to. Even 0800 numbers are normally chargeable.

Usually, an allowance includes calls to geographical numbers (beginning 01 and 02) and to mobiles. In the past, mobile calls would only be inclusive for numbers on the same network but packages with inclusive cross-network calls are more common nowadays.

As 03 numbers start to appear, these ought to be included too.
