Cheapest way to get a Nokia camera phone?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help, the situation is as follows.

The girlfriend took out a new contract with Vodafone through the Carphone warehouse last year and got a motorola v600 as part of the deal, after 3 months of using it she couldn't get on with it (having been use to Nokia's and how user friendly they are) and I lent her an old Nokia 6310i I had kicking around. I now use her Motorola V600 with my Voda PAYT SIM. I think she should go on to PAYT because her phone bill with Carphone warehouse is quite big for what she gets (100 anytime/any network mins and 75 texts for about £38) and she can't really afford it.

We are going to write and cancel her contract in a months time, is this the correct thing to do, would be better off talking to carphone warehouse for a better deal and a new phone upgrade? She really wants a Nokia with a camera, how is the cheapest way to get her what she wants? I've seen all the other threads and there is such a wealth of choice I don't know where to start!!

Many thanks in advance for all your help, Arthur.

Just ring them (Vodafone) up and cancel your contract! If they offer you a deal that suits you, then take it! Otherwise take your business elsewhere!

Yeah, as skim said, just say what can you offer me, say what you are looking for, and how much you want to pay monthly and if they can't offer something satisfactory then just say your going to leave, they sometimes try and get a better deal for you when you say you are going to leave.

But if that still isn't good enough, just get your Porting Authorization Code (PAC) and give it to another network to keep your number.

    Good luck.
  • Thanks guys. so it seems to be cut out Carphone Warehouse, who are the billing people at the moment, and deal with Voda. Try and get a good deal and if we're not happy tell them to stick it.

    Cheers.

it will be Vodafone billing you, i think the out-sourcing people like carphone warehouse and singlepoint are part of Vodafone now.
