Sorry I forgot to follow up on this thread.
Well, Watchdog made contact and were going to visit to do a story for the TV programme, not sure if B&Q got wind, but low and behold a cheque arrived within 3 days! They did sort of apologise, admin error etc, but that was that.
A bit of an anti climax really, once we had payment, there wasn't a story to cover - except in the local paper.
Anyway, wall mended and thread complete!
