Hey, When calculating your ucas points do you add all your qualifications, like, for example I have Physics at Standard Grade, Higher and Advanced Higher, do I just count Adv. Higher?

yes oyu only count the top one.....
it if it was AS level (year 1) A grade = 60 points
if it was A2 level (year 2) A grade =120 points (ie 60 points for both years, althought this isnt reduced if you get a B yr1, then A yr2)
but as mentioned, check the ucas website, otherwise email the university/college you are interested in an they will helpsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Its hard to explain, I have 2 adv. Highers, 6 Highers, and 8 stadard grades in total. But 5 of my standard grades I did as highers, then 2 of my highers I did at advanced higher.
I think I have made it sound more complex than it actually is, ill check ucas's website!0 -
Lol, I am already at Uni, so i guess its not that important, but people seem to care about UCAS points when applying for jobs etc, its crazyness! lol thanks!0

Standard grades would be ignored for University applications, if they are stating how many points applicants should have then it's Highers and Advanced Highers, and if one of your Advanced Highers is a subject you have a Higher in (very likely) then the Higher will most likely not count.Bought, not Brought0
