I've got an odd one, I got some airline tickets in the post today for a holiday we booked over a year ago but never paid the balance on becauase we were booked for work. I called to cancel but the travel company said we'd lose the deposit, so I don't think it cancelled properly.

I was supposed to get a reminder to pay the balance, which I never did obviously so assumed it was cancelled. Hmmmmm what to do :rotfl: turn up to the airport tickets in hand and try for a 90% discount trip to florida?:rotfl:

Defintely Toto....that would be a very very cheap holiday! Can you get the time off work just in case?

We're off anyway now because the little tour we're working on ends on 19th, we're supposed to fly on 23rd. It's flippin tempting lol.

Afternoon all
Well its dam lovely here today...again! I can't believe its feb and its so warm! Reminds me of last April when I had DD in shorts and t-shirt as it was so beautiful...roll on a nice summer.
Well Ive taken DD to music class, last one as have decided its too expensive, and now the weather is getting better we can do more stuff outside for FREE! Then took her for a lovely walk along weymouth beach to wear her out before having to venture to Post office.
Back home now before I attempt to tidy pigsty of a house and cook supper for us all...then swimming tonight.

Can you have a look online to see ticket reservation? Not sure whether airline might have this facility? surely if your booked in and sent tickets its all ready to go?

Well, I tried that but the agent has merged so their online service is down. It gets odder though, I'm a cheeky cow, I called them just now to say that they have my name wrong, because I've got married. Fully expecting them to say ooohh yes, you owe us XXXX, but the woman had my booking in front of her, said I would need to pay just £40 and that she would re-issue the tickets to be picked up at the check in desk on the morning of travel. I said, so that's it, we're good to go? She said, yes Mrs Toto have a lovely trip?????
