can anyone recomend a good insurer for a cherokee cheep 4x4 jeep without me having to ring loads of them.

The problem is you often have to ring around a few to get a good price as someone could recommend a cheap insurer for a 4x4 which in turn could not be so cheap for yourself. Try A-Plan, supermarkets like sainsbury's, tesco etc are normally pretty good and also try halifax. see this thread, you will find out within 5 days if you get your policy for a £1.!!
