    Hi all, :)

I've just merged this query into an older thread that also covers using substitutes when making hummous. You'll need to read from the beginning, as usual, to catch up.

    Good luck :)

just in case it helps someone else: http://middleeasterncuisine.suite101.com/article.cfm/home_made_tahini

I never realised you could make your own. I remember trying to make my own halva - with disastrous results! So i thought homemade tahini would be equally terrible but it seems to work.

What else can you make with tahini besides hummus?

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

I just throw some sesame seeds into the mix before I whizz it all up, tastes just the same.
