Hi all,
I've just merged this query into an older thread that also covers using substitutes when making hummous. You'll need to read from the beginning, as usual, to catch up.

just in case it helps someone else: http://middleeasterncuisine.suite101.com/article.cfm/home_made_tahini
I never realised you could make your own. I remember trying to make my own halva - with disastrous results! So i thought homemade tahini would be equally terrible but it seems to work."Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

What else can you make with tahini besides hummus?Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0
