Can I ask a silly and stupid question please?

On the sheet of sticky labels that you get in your packs, there are labels that say:

'Please attach this label to the envelopes that you return your items to us inside', along with a barcode and your PID number.

Now, where and when do you attach these labels?

The big plasticy envelopes you use to return received mail and the small A5 plasticy envelopes that you use to return SMARTS in, ensure one of these labels is stuck on the outside ( i usually stick mine on the back bottom corner) of the plasticy envelope.

That way they scan it when it arrives and they know who sent it in.

the label doesn't need to go on the Smart envelope
Only the envelope you return the items at the end of the week in needs a label.

On the 'training' I think it's called, had an item to post yesterday & one for today. Both small envelopes, one with an address label on the other needs to be hand written. Need to attach a label to them both as well (not the address label), I attached this to the sheet inside - that's correct isn't it?

I'm sure I'll get the hang of it but it's confusing to start with!!!

Yes PMS, you put the right hand side (of the sheet of labels) sticky lable on to the insert, that then goes inside the envelope. That label will have a letter R and then 4 numbers on it.

It took me months to get the hang, but i now do it with my eyes closed:rolleyes: it'll come to you.

Thanks betterlatethannever, I'm sure I'll get the hang on it soon enough. The stamps are sure coming in useful for my postal competitions which I've started doing!!!

I have recieved 2 items of test mail today and I have logged them online correctly.

What do I do with the mail now? send it back to Kantar or throw it away?

Do I keep each white letter and envelope as well? and send it all back to Kantar in one of those grey envelopes with the sticker? grrrrrrrr

Confused now?

Hi millrose,

Any mail you get needs to be put in the large grey plastic envelope. You put everything you get in there (letter & envelope). On the back on the large plastic envelope put one of your bar code stickers.

Sorry just thought, I send mine back once a week. I do them on a Friday as thats the best day for me.

When i get a test item, i put it all back in the envelope it came in, as they need to see everything, inc the envelope. I then post the plastic envelope back to kantar, on a friday.

The same goes for smarts i have to send back

All test item mail you receive gets logged on as normal, then you put it in the big grey envelope remembering to put your sticker on the outside of the envelope. (the label that says ' Please attach this label to the envelopes that you return your items to us inside'). When I first read that I was a bit confused.
