If this gets boring, can't you just cancel it?Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one
)! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.
What I achieved:
Car paid in full straightaway.
Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!0 -
Not a good start for me. I got my first two letters last Friday, & tried to access the training pages. They weren't working then & still aren't working now. The links to the help guides don't work either. I'm using Internet Explorer as recommended, so my browser isn't the problem. I also haven't been able to reach anyone on either of the freephone numbers, though I tried several times on Friday & a few times today. Also checked out my local postboxes - one I hoped to use hasn't got anything on it except the day of the week, so it's just as well the other one I've got access to & could register is very near work & I work in the same postal area I live in.
Anyway, I've got my envelopes ready, so it's just a case of slipping out mid-afternoon tomorrow to post the first one. Knowing my luck, they'll be announcing a strike on the morning news. :rolleyes:BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

has anybody ever been able to access the training???? you can ring them up and they'll send you it on A4 paper.when i first started i just couldn't get to speak to anybody on the fone.not sure if it depends on time or day when you ring either and i've foned quite a few times.also i don't think they have many people working in the 'office' there as i've only ever spoken to 2 different people-one a woman and one a guy.with regards to post boxes.
Please do not worry if you can not post at exactly the right time or at exactly the right posting point as long as the posting point you do post from is on your list of postboxes and you ensure you tell us which box you actually used.
also you can use a postbox that ISN'T on your list as long as you make sure you add it when you've sent an item.
The time of posting and the posting point is not as important as ensuring the item is posted on the day it needs to be and before the last collection time for that box.

Being a postman of over 25 years,do any of you actually realise how many people process your mail before the postie who delivers your mail actually gets his hands on it if at all.I have signed up for a lot of these so called freebies on here and only received one or two,I deliver my own mail so either I am a light fingered postie or everyone in the royal mail is on the fiddle or maybe that the companys are not sending them in the first place,Stealing from royal mail isnt just a sackable offence it could also lead to going to prison,Im not saying all posties are whiter than white, but risking your job for a few samples of perfume etc etc etc !!!!!!
My sentiments exactly.:T0
