Hopefully the delay will mean the changes are fantastic and worth the wait!!:p

    "Good Afternoon

Following our earlier e mail to you regarding our data entry site being down we would like to offer the following advice:
Please continue to send out the items you are scheduled to send making a note of when and where you sent the item from on your posting schedule.
If you are a panelist that uses Smarts, please do not put Smarts into the items you are due to send out until the site is up and running again.
When you receive items from other panelists please make a note of the received date on the envelope and enter the details when the site is up and running again. Please keep the Smarts with the received items until you can data enter their details.
As soon as the site is up and running again we will send you an e mail.

For your information the site has been down due to a large burst water main in the SE area of London where our offices are located. The flood caused power outages which have prevented our systems from operating. We hope to get things up and running again as soon as possible.

    Thank you for you patience

    Kind Regards

    Postal Survey Team"

I had a phone call asking me if I had received the misdelivery survey pack, being as the survey only started today i was

Caller also mentioned that the webpage may not be functional until thursday or friday. ( I was  as the misdelivery survey has no connection as to whether the webpage is working or not.)

Hopefully we will get xtra stamps for the inconvenience.

I had a posting to make today between 10am-1.00 pm, it was prepared and posted with a smart.

Ive only had the first email perhaps they are using Post Office Internet Services.

Ive got to ring back at about 4.30pm to see what the situation is, and whether i should post tomorrow and Weds as planned.

Well if the smart is in the envelope... not much you can do ;-) just post it on.

Edit: just got a call too, look like their doing their rounds!
  • Was the phone call you got from 0800 270360? I had a missed call at home before 2 and dont recognise the no. Maybe it was them calling.
