Evil buyer

  • I've still got a ongoing claim from crimbo for a book that i purchased but wasnt delivered. The guy has left some !!!!!! messages to other people that have left him neg feed back.
I dont think sellers should be able to leave neg feed back as some are waiting till i have recived the item and left feedback before they do so they have the chance to leave neg. If i have paid for my item promtly but the item doesnt turn up or turns up damaged and i give the seller neg or nutural i should not recive neg when i have kept up my end of the bargain.
Soz to hog your thread, those buyers sound terrible.
    Rant over :)

BTW, this thing with not being allowed to respond to neg feedback with neg feedback, can you leave a + but put AVOID, DREADFUL TRANSACTION or something after it?

I will not leave a positive for a bad buyer as no one will read any comments and all that will happen is that bad buyers will get lots and lots of lovely nice positive feedback.

Back on topic though I have a large awkward item here that is well over 20kg in weight, I advertised it clearly as collection only..mentioned that in auction text and set the postage for collection only. So far I have had two messages asking 'how much to post please?'. Arghhh

  • I get the opposite, I always say 'No collections' and then somebody will insist on driving a 40 mile round trip to save £2.50 postage charge! Mental!

    Jeeez that's harsh!

To be honest to way eBay is going I will be more than happy to get a few negatives.. buyers are just being more and more unreasonable.. and with the new feedback system it is only going to get worse.

So what if you get a negative? It's only eBay.. you can always open a new account..

When I wetn bankrupt, I owed eBay some money for fees and so my account was suspended with 7000 feedback at 99.9% positive.. I was gutted.. then I realised that people buy off you anyway.. so it doesn't really matter that much, not enough for me to get stressed about anyhow.

As for the shirt, you advertised the shirt and the postage, they purchased the shirt and the postage. Tough if it got there creased or you used a bag, if she wants to leave you a negative let her.. I mean, can she not iron it herself?!

Completely true. I'm thinking of just giving up selling. Pft.
