Barclaycard is dumped as soon as I pay off my final statement.

No good for anything any more :(

I stopped using my Barclaycard ages ago, regardless of the Nectar points scheme. On calculating how many Nectar points I was gaining by using my Barclaycard, I realised it wasn't worth it. For me, it made better sense to opt for a cashback credit card, as I always pay my monthly statements in full. I've already accrued about £60 cashback so far, whereas if I was still with Barclaycard, I'd probably have gotten about 2,000 points i.e. a measly £10.

Can you recommend any good cashback credit cards. Im about to finally give my barclaycard the flick after 3 years. Thanks

Egg Money seems to be a pretty good deal. I've just (finally) made the move from barclaycard too, last straw was when they wouldn't up my £1500 limit when I have zero debts, a fair amount of savings, city job, etc...

I figure I might as well keep the Barclaycard account until it expires in 2008 though, unless there are any negatives to keeping it.
