mspig, not a lot of extra advice I can give you beyond what you've had.

But you have my best wishes that you can find a way forward. You are doing so well to stick together as a family under such trying circumstances.

I dont want to sound harsh but are you running two seperate threads?

One for yourself and one for your folks and all of you are considering going bankrupt?

Soon you'll be experts and can inform us all of the process i would have thought.

Maybe its time to stop blaming the individuals and start looking at the companies lending credit.

Im not saying there isnt a limit. Im saying why did these people run up so much debt in the first place. They are all housed by the council and now have run up debts they cant repay. Im just wondering where my tax money is going thats all.
Im here to help people who need help.

You have no assets - go bankrupt. End of.

I'm not convinced of that. You appear to resent that you, as a taxpayer and someone who has managed their affairs well, should have to subsidise others who haven't for whatever reason had the same ability. Fair play, that's your opinion and you welcome to it - it may even strike a chord with many of us.
However, this isn't the forum for that particular gripe and this certainly isn't the thread for it. You may be good with your money, but you have a hell of a lot of anger welled up there m8.

I absolutely agree with you but i wouldn't bother wasting time typing a response. Some people make a point of coming onto chat forums such as this primarily to cause trouble and upset.

Hi, yes i'm running two threads after talking to my mum who is really worried that the or will remove all the things she has been collecting over the years.

Only my dad is going bankrupt as hes useless with money my mum is actually the one who holds all together on the purse strings.

You are entiltled to post another thread, please don't feel you have to exonerate yourself, most people on here will gladly help you on both threads :)

Ill glad help people that can be helped. i dont see that there are many options for the OP. She has no assets, no way of repaying the debts, so I suggest going bankrupt hence refer to her previous posting about her parents.

I was only making hte comment that hopefully credit will be tightened up in the very near future so peoples lifes are destroyed so badly that they have to cry themselves to sleep at nights so these capitalists can keep generating profits.

But on the same hand, individuals should have the responsibility to be able to repay any loan/credit that they receive which in a few threads ive read is never going to be possible.
