Debranding Nokia N73

Ive just bought a Nokia N73 on the T Mobile network.
Id like to get rid of all the T Mobile software and menus.
I also read somewhere that the Music Edition software can be loaded onto it.
Can someone tell me where and how to do this please?

Have you searched google. Plenty of idiot proof guides to debrand your N73. You could even debrand and turn it into the music edition depending on which product code you decide to use.

Thanks for the offer but i managed to do it myself.
I do have question though: I plan to get it unlocked at my local shop. Should i wait until this has been done before i debrand it? Will changing the product code make a difference to the unlocking process?

You can change the product code back to the original one after you have debranded.

the only problem with that is if you plug your phone back into the computer it will update back to branded sw

Does it always do that though ? I know a few people who debranded using a vanilla code, they changed the code back to the original product code and the update thing said there were no newer updates for their phone.

I changed it back so there wouldnt be any problems getting it unlocked.
Ive to pick it up this afternoon so ill keep the code as the old one and maybe change it if needed when updating.

the unlocking wont be affected by changing the firmware.
