Don't forget that once you have got a price comparison, you may be able to get cashback from Quidco to bring your overall cost down further! Did this with Prudential last year and saved another £100 on top of the lowest premium (not up for renewal for a few months, then time to save money again!).

Prudential was excellent for me last year........£120 cashback paid and was among the best quote anyway ......... including RAC cover !!

I do seriously hope that u have got a good deal but from my experience its not about the best quote............but its about the renewable quote which is sent by your current provider which is required as proof. On several occasions I have had to produce it despite various attempts to ignore their request to send the renewable quote. If not they do threaten to cancel the policy or charge you the full amount !!!

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying here??

    Hooray!

Just wanted to share that I renewed my insurance with tesco today, and it's gone down from £31 to £14 a month!!

Very pleased, considering i'm a young driver who is considered to be higher risk!!

I quoted a much cheaper quote to them, and they said "we can match that". Easy!!

Has anyone taken advantage of this offer? If so did they send you a policy and is the cover ok?

    thanks

In answer to your question loveabargin: Yes, Yes and Yes.

I have. It all looks above board and has a decent legal protection cover. If you want to read all about it if you go to the website www.matthewsguide.co.uk, click on the banner called Legal Protection £4.99 and it explains it all there.

Ignore the £4.99 bit, if you subscribe to the Matthews Guide for £1.99 you get the Legal Protection for free! The offer expired at the end of December but I've just had another look and its been extended to the end of March.

For just £1.99 you get totally independent advice etc..
Also for an extra £2.99 you can have £50,000 of Legal Protection Cover
