Help.. burnt toaster!!!!

Options
While I was at work last night OH left the toaster alone for too long and voila burnt toast and flames from toaster!!!!!! Now I've got no toaster and I'm left with a burnt smell around the house and I can smell it everywhere.

Does anyone have a good way to get rid of it please?

TIA
