High gloss kitchen

Not going to put me off. I'm about to buy a black gloss kitchen with a solid surface white speckledy worktop. I'm hoping it will look quite dramatic.
Loverly!
I did briefly consider white, but decided to have what I wanted, not what I thought would be easier to sell. I'm not planning to move for about 10 years and by then, whatever kitchen I had, the buyer would probably want to change."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

We're going to go for racing green (i call it that) gloss units from Ikea in our utility with black and white porcelin floor tiles and goodness knows what coloured walls. I've never seen green gloss units before and like the idea of their unique colour and as the rest of the house is going to be pretty conservative why not. Though i definately wouldn't consider them for a full on kitchen. Maybe!0

Howden's have an aubergine (kind of mauve) colour high gloss units and they are also lovely.
My kitchen window faces north east so it never gets direct sunlight so any dust won't show up too badly.
At the moment I have painted (by me) pine doors with wouldings and they are a right dirt collector. I'm surprised we haven't all had typhoid!
