What is (sp?)
it's been buggin me for days... think I have seen PP ask today as well somewhere.
Edit: yes she did in todays diary...but had no replies to it yet.0 -
(sp?) means they are unsure of the spelling.
HTHCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
(sp?) means the poster is unsure if they have spelt something correctly
A note of caution
If you use the internet a lot and perhaps other forums (yes, they do exist ) then DW is the feminine version of DH.
In other words, DW stands for Dear Wife and not necessarilysqueaky wrote:... DW Dish Washer ....
On the whole, not a problem, unless of course you are typing that you have turned on the DW this morning in which case it could be misread and been deemed:  TMI (Too Much Information) :silenced:
PMS = Pin Money Savings (Challenge)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PMS Pot: £57.53 Pigsback Pot: £23.00

Its (spelling?) i.e. if you are not sure if you have spelt the word correctly.
The (sp) is used by teachers sometimes when marking, or at least it was on my work sometimes! So I guess thats where it comes from.
[edit:] oh the joys of posting at the same time as others :rolleyes:0 -

Having just read Squeaky's original post, I now know that DM is Dear Mum! A couple of days ago, I thought that somebody had taken one of their boots (DM's) out shopping with them  !!0
